Monday Morning Photo – Mediterranean Sunrise in Tarragona, Spain

mediterranean sunrise tarragona spain travel

When I arrived in the Catalonian city of Tarragona last week, a quick glance at the map let me know that the sun would be rising over the Mediterranean, directly east of the old town. With an early slide out of bed – but not painful, as winter at this latitude means an 8 a.m. appointment with the horizon – I was enjoying a mild morning with a range of hues in front of me. I had not been close to the Mediterranean in a few years and this was the perfect way to reacquaint myself.

I like your photographs very much. I think this year you could visit CACERES , if you don’t know it, you will enjoy it !!.

Hi Concha, I’m glad you like the photos! I have not yet been to Caceres, but the images I have seen make it seem an ideal place to visit for someone who loves history and architecture. I’ve been to Badajoz and Merida, so it’s time to explore some more of Extremadura.
