Last week I felt cold weather for the first time in a year and a half. The dry air hovering around freezing was certainly an initial jolt to the system, but the change was welcome and appreciated. I waited a few days for a clear morning and my lingering jet lag ensured that I was up for the soft array of hues.
What I enjoy most about winter mornings is the contrast of the barren trees with a colorful backdrop. The sky provides some life to an otherwise bleak winter morning.
